the most happening bar in Puno : Positive Rock & Raeggae

Postiively the most happening bar in Puno, there was a cool mix of international travelers at the bar.

Drink Bird! .. Drink! Alex is showing this bird who is boss... The condor is of course the ultimate cultural symbol of the incas, representing the "overworld", and the city of cusco was constructed in the shape of one of these giant birds. (30ft wingspan... we just caught some glimpses of some from the cab)

It's obvious that we owned the place.

Before leaving, I donated a cal-train ticket on their wall of cork, which had receipts, business cards, and photos from people all over the world.

While we were here, they played some great music concert DVDs including queen and depeche mode. (I swear, the entire country is obsessed with depeche mode... I've never heard this much in one week, but the 80s (las ochentas!) are always welcome.
