Puno - the town near Lake Titicaca

We flew into a town called Juliaca, which is quite close to Puno, the major town on Lake Titcaca. The altitude was pretty high, and our bodies and brains did take some time to adjust. Basically, it felt like our hands and feet were tingling, and your brain just feels a bit off. Were taking Diamox, which our travel doctors prescribed, which was possibly helpful, but made our meals taste a little metallic.
