Time is flying, and today is the day that Mike, the subletter, moves into my room ... I'm hoping things work out well, and that my sublease up in the Bay goes well too. I'll be heading up there tomorrow or the day after to meet up with my parents in San Jose. (they are visitng relatives) I found this album on ebay, and would have totally bought it if I had a record player. I may need it!

Down our row at graduation, Abel, Star and Sandra are having fun passing around my sony PSP. (it's a long ceremony!) I installed the homebrew NES emulator and put a bunch of games on it to get ready for the ceremony. =) Super mario brothers, zelda, and bubble bobble were all giant hits. After the ceremony, I went to Abel's girlfriend's house for his graduation party. I got pretty stuffed on ethiopian food and met up with a bunch of friends afterwards in Santa Monica.
Me, Mark, Sandra, and Star got together for this picture at graduation. (Max is walking to the right on the right side as well) Everyone's smiling after all the suffering that led to this day! In truth, I still have one class left to take in the fall, but couldn't help but getting caught up in the celebration with everybody. They only have a ceremony once a year at UCLA, so It was great to be there with all my friends in June.

Instead of studying for finals, I decided to join John and Mike in their visit to the Petersen Automotive Museum. We were all impressed with the place and saw over a hundred historical cars and motorcycles. There were town sets from each time period complete with wax people and fully stocked markets, drugstores, and insurance offices from the 20s, 30s, and later. The attention to detail was really neat, and the amount of cars was as many as I'd want to see in a day. Entry to the museum is only $5 with a student idea, and can be found on Fairfax & Wilshire. Check it out sometime if you like cars at all... it's really cool!
Hee Seop Choi!
We attended our first dodger game this past friday and got to see the dodgers and minnesota twins square off. Our entire section was chanting Hee Seop Choi! Hee Seop Choi! (he is the dodger first baseman) He may have the best name in all of baseball for chanting, so we decided to cheer his name for every event in the game... Tied 5-5 going into the bottom of the 9th, our cheers payed off, and Hee Seop Choi smacked a homerun off the right field foul pole. The dodger bench rushed the field and all the fans went crazy! Everyone was still chanting Hee Seop Choi! in the parking lot, and in traffic on the way out... We had a blast, the home team won, and we got to enjoy a couple dogs, beers, and some heavenly garlic fries. Oh yes.

B-Team van, part 1!
I finally got around to taking a picture of the two jallopy "pot-mobiles" that reside in our back alley. It looks like the owners have welded on some sheet metal, baskets, and appliances! They've been just sitting around, but Mike claims to have seen someone rummaging around in one of them the other day...
