Union Station seemed pretty cool, and their chairs seemed comfy! I wish I brought my fish-eye lens to capture how big this place is on the inside. I'll have to take an amtrak some day to San Diego or San Fran. I'm looking at prices right now to avoid studying. =)

On our way getting Jake and Abbie to Union Station for their train to San Diego, we stopped by Little Tokyo for some breakfast. Here's a picture of Mike, Abbie, and Jake walking around. We were trying to find breakfast, but downtown LA looked about as dead as the set of Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdrome. (yeah, the sequel) We ended up getting bagels and sandwiches at a cafe attached to a hotel, before making it to Union Station.

Jake and Abbie are visiting and after a fun night at the Cinema bar on Sepulveda, we decided to go shopping. I was pretty intent on not studying, so I decided to try to do some xmas shopping as well. We checked out the Del Amo Fashion Mall in Torrance, CA and enjoyed mediocre food at the food court. Chick Fil-A made Mike feel ill and I was still hungry. Here's a photo of a gingerbread house that was in the mall, I assume it is seasonal. =)

These were the last of the thanksgiving leftovers I wolfed down on the tuesday after. And yes, the green mashed potatoes were a hit... The food was still good on day 4.. =)
